Mr. Tamás Hajba joined the OECD in 2015. In this capacity, he is responsible for OECD-China cooperation and exchanges. Mr. Hajba has 20 years of experience in the field of government and public affairs, with extensive experience in bilateral and multilateral cooperation. He has served as Consul General of Hungary in Shanghai, Head of the Cabinet of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consul General of Hungary in Chongqing. During his eight years as Head of the Diplomatic Delegation, he was responsible for trade and investment promotion, business development and project negotiations in China. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Moscow University of International Relations and has completed a postgraduate studies at the Foreign Affairs Academy in Beijing.
