Professor Wu Xiaoqiu, born in February 1959, is a renowned financial securities expert in China. From 2016 to 2020, Professor Wu served as the Vice President of Renmin University of China. Currently, Professor Wu is the Vice Chairman of Academic Committee of Renmin University of China, the Dean of China Capital Market Research Institute, the Director of the China-US Humanities Exchange Research Center of the Ministry of Education, the First Class Professor of Finance at Renmin University of China, and the Distinguished Professor of “Chang Jiang Scholars Program” launched by Ministry of Education (2006). His major social academic titles are as follows: the Convenor of Disciplinary Review Group of Applied Economics of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the First Deputy Chairman of the National Supervisory Committee for Professional Degrees in Finance, the Chairman of Higher Education Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, Professor Wu published hundreds of articles in Social Sciences in China, Economic Research Journal, Journal of Financial Research and so on.
